The relationship between social movements and political parties is understudied in political sociology. My aim is to narrow this knowledge gap via substantive and methodological contributions. The purpose of this blog is to disseminate information about the project and its findings.
“The Relationship between Social Movements and Political Parties for the Democratic Representation of Social Groups in Europe” is a three-year cross-national empirical project, to be housed in the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (SWPS) in Poland in collaboration with the Berlin Social Science Center (WZB) in Germany.
The project benefits from the generous support of Poland’s National Science Centre (grant number UMO-2021/40/C/HS6/00229).
